Crater Lake - June 2019

Crater Lake, like Mount St Helen’s got a double visit on the flagpoling trip, once on the way up with Miriam and then on the way back down solo. The first trip was a more casual affair, and we had the pleasure of being able to hike the rim drive road without any traffic up until the plough zone. It was hard to fathom how much snow was still around, in some places still well over ten feet of it.
